Jorge Prado is still in "sweeping" mode and gets the win in the three races held this weekend in Sardegna (Sardinia) in the third round of the MXGP World Championship. The victories in the RAM RACE Qualifier held on Saturday, and the two races disputed on Sunday, place the Spanish rider with a slightly greater advantage than the one he had before the start of this race.

It was a tremendous weekend in Arroyomollinos during the second round of the MXGP World Championship where we were able to enjoy some epic rounds in which Daniela Guillén in MXGPWomen and Jorge Prado in MXGP have won their corresponding rounds, and both achieved the red plate (Prado keep it).

The women's category was run on Saturday and Sunday, which in part could mean that any of the participants would have a drop from one day to the next, but Daniela Guillén won both races on both days and defeated, in both, the pilot Dutch Lotte Van Drunen who, although in the first race she did not put up any resistance when Daniela overtook her, in the second race she put up a fight until the last corner.
Toni Bou achieves a full victory in Nice after the three rounds of the X-Trial World Championship 2024 and is heading without hesitation for what would be his 18th X-Trial title and 35th World Championship.
The first round ended with Bou as the rider with the fewest penalties (1), followed by Busto with 6 and leaving Marcelli in a worrying 5th position behind Bincaz and Martyn.
Meanwhilw, Grattarola was 6th, Raga 7th and Colairó 8th.
On the second lap Busto got the lowest score that gave him an extra point in the general classification, Bou was second and Raga, who although he set the third best time on this lap, weighed down his bad first lap. For his part, Marcelli managed to go through to the final after drawing with Martyn but achieving a better average.
The final was a nice walk un the park for Bou, leaving more than two zones of difference his fight with Busto, who was second, and Marcelli, third.
Now there will be a break in the X-Trial World Championship and the next round will be in Geneva on May 4.

Tras ellos Toby Martyn que estuvo a punto de colarse en la final pero se tuvo que conformar con la cuarta posición final seguido de Bincaz, su compañero en Sherco, Raga, Grattarola y por último, Hugo Dufresse que corría por segunda vez una prueba del Mundial de X-Trial

Incluso si mis rivales estaban bastante cerca, solo hice un pie en las nueve zonas de clasificación. Y luego, en la final, me sentí aún mejor y pude tomar la delantera desde el principio. El equipo ha hecho un gran trabajo y estoy orgulloso de ellos”
Gabriel Marcelli (2º): “Estoy satisfecho con este segundo puesto pero sobre todo con mi pilotaje. Creo que he rodado bastante bien a pesar de los dos errores en los últimos tramos que acabaron con mis esperanzas de victoria. De todos modos, los puntos por el segundo puesto siguen siendo muy buenos para el campeonato”.
Busto (3º): “Monté muy bien en las dos primeras rondas, pero todo se fue al garete en la final cuando fallé la Sección Tres. Eso me ha dejado con sentimientos encontrados. El lado positivo es haber seguido en el podio. Pero ahora necesito volver a trabajar para hacerlo mejor la próxima vez”.

Bou took the lead in the championship and did so in an intractable way when in zone two of the final, he made it clear to Marcelli and Busto that they would have to pull not one rabbit out of the hat, but four to be able to defeat him.
